(Alliance News) - Spire Healthcare Group PLC on Friday said it will assist the National Health Service in the UK with Covid-19 planning.
The private hospital operator said that following a meeting with the public healthcare service and other entities from across the private sector, it was asked to offer support and agreed to help.
"The exact nature, extent and the timing of this support is yet to be determined. In the meantime, we continue to offer a full service to our patients."
Shares in Spire Healthcare were up 5.7% on Friday morning in London at 89.30 pence each.
