(Alliance News) - Spire Healthcare Group PLC said on Monday that it has agreed to a contract amendment and renewal with private healthcare provider Bupa UK.
The hospitals operator said the contract's minimum term will be extended to March 2022, with agreed pricing during this period.
The existing contract, which was last renewed in November, had prices agreed until the end of March 2021.
In July, Spire also signed a long-term pricing agreement with healthcare insurance provider AXA PPP Healthcare.
Spire said its private medical insurance business represented 47% of its total sales in 2018.
Shares in the company were down 3.6% at 100.40 pence each in London on Monday morning.
