Spirax-Sarco Appoints Former Rotork CEO France Non-Executive Director

LONDON (Alliance News) - Spirax-Sarco Engineering PLC announced Tuesday it has appointed former Rotork PLC Chief Executive Peter France as an independent non-executive director.

France, who was CEO at flow control equipment firm Rotork from 2008 to August last year, will join Spirax-Sarco's board immediately.

Chairman Bill Whiteley said: "I am delighted to welcome Peter to the board of directors. His broad industrial engineering and international business experience will benefit the further development of the group.

"This appointment is part of the succession planning undertaken by the Nomination Committee to recruit non-executive directors with the skills and experience required to support the implementation of our strategy for growth."

Spirax-Sarco shares were up 0.5% on Tuesday at 5,585.00 pence each.
