(Alliance News) - Spectris PLC on Friday said it is starting the final tranche of its GBP200 million share buyback programme.
The Egham, England-based precision instrumentation and controls supplier has contracted JP Morgan Securities PLC to head the tranche between September 10 and November 30.
The maximum number of shares that may be repurchased in the period is 8.8 million, making the tranche worth up to GBP52.9 million.
Spectris unveiled the buyback in February when releasing its 2020 results. At the same time, it announced a dividend increase of 5% for the year.
Shares in Spectris were up 0.8% at 4,035.00 pence in London on Friday morning.
