(Alliance News) - Precision instruments and controls maker Spectris PLC has appointed Quilter PLC board member to its own board, it said on Tuesday.
Cathy Turner, who currently chairs wealth manager Quilter's remuneration committee and is a non-executive director, will be joining Spectris, also as a non-executive director, at the start of September.
She has "significant" experience in human resources and remuneration, Spectris said, having previous served as Barclays PLC's human resources chief.
Spectris Chair Mark Williamson said: "I am delighted that Cathy has agreed to join the board. Her considerable people and remuneration leadership experience combined with her notable background in premium listed companies will further strengthen the Spectris board."
Spectris shares were 1.1% lower on Tuesday morning in London at 2,257.00 pence each.
