LONDON (Alliance News) - Europe and Mediterranean-focused upstream oil and gas firm Sound Energy PLC on Tuesday appointed Stephen Whyte as its non-executive chairman.
Whyte already is a non-executive on Sound's board and is the former chief operating officer and exploration & production executive director of Galp Energia, a Portuguese energy company.
He takes over from Simon Davies, who stepped down last week to "pursue other interests".
Shares in Sound Energy were up 1.2% to 20.62 pence Tuesday.
