LONDON (Alliance News) - Mediterranean-focused upstream gas company Sound Energy PLC said Wednesday that it had a positive meeting with Italian authorities, but that it has received a request for one more additional suite of technical information for its Badile site.
A 'Conferenza dei Servizi' was held by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development to consider the final permission to drill at its Badile site in Italy Wednesday, and "no objections" were raised at that meeting, Sound Energy said.
The company will submit the additional suite of information shortly, it said. It expects a second meeting to be convened thereafter, and Sound Oil said it "remains confident of a successful conclusion to the Badile permitting."
Shares in Sound Energy were down 3.5% at 18.10 pence Wednesday afternoon.
