LONDON (Alliance News) - Sound Energy PLC on Friday said the TE-9 well, located in eastern Morocco, has been drilled to the first casing point.
The Moroccan-focused upstream gas company said the well was drilled to a measured depth of 352 metres. The company added that it will now proceed to drill towards the second casing point at an depth of approximately 2,300 metres.
The TE-9 is the first of a three-well exploration campaign in the region.
Sound Energy shares were trading down 0.9% at 34.68 pence early Friday morning.
