Sound Energy Continues Testing Operations At Well TE-10 In Morroco

2nd Apr 2019 16:40

LONDON (Alliance News) - Sound Energy PLC said Tuesday its testing at TE-10 well in Greater Tendrara area, onshore Morocco, is continuing.

Testing operations are underway at TE-10, which involves rigless re-entry of the well, acquisition of cement bond log information, and both unstimulated and stimulated flow tests on multiple intervals.

Sound Energy said it expects coiled tubing from Tunisia before perforating and initiating the unstimulated tests, followed by the stimulated flow test.

Back in January, the upstream gas company announced that work at TW-10 had likely found "additional thin bedded net pay" within the TR-10 gas reservoir.

The upstream gas company upped its net pay estimates to 15.5 metres from 10.5 metres, an increase of 48%, with a mid case of 13.1 metres and a low case of 9.5 metres.

Shares in Sound Energy closed up 2.5% Tuesday at 20.00 pence each.
