Sound Energy Board Member Clarkson To Leave After Morocco Work

14th May 2019 11:50

LONDON (Alliance News) - Sound Energy PLC on Tuesday said Non-Executive Director David Clarkson is to leave the company later in 2019.

Sound said he will depart once the company has finished its ongoing work in eastern Morocco, expected towards the end of June. He will remain to help until a new non-executive is appointed until August 13.

A search for a replacement has begun, the company added.

Shares were 5.5% lower on Tuesday in London at 18.90 pence each.

Sound is currently carrying out work on the Tendrara concession, saying last week it was "delighted" with initial results from the TE-10 well, which has already been declared as a discovery.
