LONDON (Alliance News) - Solid State PLC on Monday said it has appointed Peter James as its finance director, effective from February 20.
The company, which supplies industrial computers, electronic components and communication systems, said James will join from his role as financial controller at IQE PLC, the London-listed semiconductor wafer products manufacturer.
"We are very pleased to welcome Peter to Solid State. He has excellent pedigree and very impressive industry experience that will be of benefit to the group," said Solid State Chairman Tony Frere.
Solid State shares were up 0.4% to 444.45 pence on Monday, while IQE shares were down 0.4% at 35.60p.
