LONDON (Alliance News) - Solid State PLC on Thursday said it has secured a contract worth at least GBP1 million with FTSE 250-listed engineering company Renishaw PLC to supply programmed semiconductor devices for use in metrology products.
The company, which supplies industrial computers, electronic components, secure communication systems and battery power services, said the contract will be delivered over the next 12 months.
"Renishaw have always been viewed as innovators in precision manufacturing. It is very pleasing to have been brought into their supply chain through recognition of our own initiatives in component supply," said John Macmichael, the managing director of Solid State Supplies.
