(Alliance News) - Ecuador-focused exploration firm SolGold PLC on Tuesday said a committee will assess what work is needed to complete a pre-feasibility study at the Alpala project.
The recently formed Alpala project committee is "undertaking a review of the PFS work input components and the report drafting progress", SolGold said.
"The key objectives of this committee are to actively participate in setting the development strategy, provide advice, support effective decision making and monitor the staged development to achieve agreed outcomes relating to the Alpala project," the company added.
The review is expected to be completed by the end of January, with a recommendation to SolGold's board to be made after that.
SolGold added: "The company plans to update the market on the PFS shortly thereafter."
Shares in the company were 2.4% higher at 35.44 pence each in London on Tuesday afternoon.
