LONDON (Alliance News) - SolGold PLC on Tuesday said surface mineralisation has been found south of the Alpala Creek prospect at the Cascabel copper-gold porphyry project in Ecuador.
The mineralisation points to a new target area for the project, Alpala South, SolGold said.
Detailed geological mapping is ongoing at Cascabel and rock-saw channel sampling has started over the Hematite Hill and Alpala South areas.
SolGold shares were up 10% to 4.07 pence on the news.
