LONDON (Alliance News) - SolGold PLC on Monday said it has encountered further intersections at the Cascabel copper-gold porphyry project in Ecuador.
SolGold said drilling conducted at Hole 12 at the site has intersected visible copper sulphide mineralisation, with a mineralised diorite porphyry section also intersected.
The company said a second drilling rig has been mobilised at the site, with plans to test further porphyry centres within the Cascabel project.
Shares in Solgold were up 3.3% to 2.375 pence on Monday.
