LONDON (Alliance News) - SolGold PLC Friday said the completion of drilling on Hole 12 at its Cascabel copper-gold porphyry project in Ecuador confirms an extension of the mineralised system at Alpala Central.
The hole was completed at the end of September to a depth of 1,683.0 metres. It confirmed that the mineralised system at Alpala Central remains open further to the south-east.
SolGold said it expects final assay results in mid-October.
Meanwhile, drilling on Hole 13 at the Alpapa North West drill site began at the end of August and is currently at a depth of 881.3 metres.
Shares in SolGold were down 5.0% at 1.90 pence Friday morning.
