LONDON (Alliance News) - SolGold PLC Monday said it has recorded visual observations of copper and molybdenum mineralisation at its CSD-13-003 drill hole within the Cascabel project in Ecuador.
The copper- and gold-focused mining company with operations in Ecuador, Australia and the Solomon Islands, said the drill hole intersected 579 metres of visual copper and molybdenum mineralisation.
The company said that laboratory assays from the drill hole have not been received and the company is unable to determine the likely grade of the visual observations yet.
Solgold said it expects assays from the previously drilled CSD-13-002 to be announced within days and it proposes to expand the current 5 hole programme to 11 holes and a total of 6600 metres.
Solgold shares were up 2.0% to 13.00 pence Monday.
