LONDON (Alliance News) - SolGold PLC on Tuesday released an update of operations at its Cascabel Copper-Gold Porphyry project in Ecuador.
The gold mining company said hole 15R2 is currently drilling at a depth of 1,595.7 metres and has intersected intense visible copper sulphide mineralisation, which is increasing with depth. SolGold plans for it to reach a depth of 1,800 metres.
Hole 17 is currently drilling at a depth of 729.2 metres in visible mineralisation. It has a planned depth of 1,300 metres.
Shares in SolGold were trading up 3.4% at 3.64 pence on Tuesday morning.
