LONDON (Alliance News) - SolGold PLC Friday said the latest assay results from the Cascabel copper-gold porphyry project in Ecuador has confirmed high grade copper and gold mineralisation.
Assay results from Hole 10 on the project confirmed the copper and gold mineralisation extends to the north-west of the hole, returning 156 metres at 0.63% copper and 0.74 grammes of gold per tonne from 684 metres depth.
SolGold said there was a higher grade interval of 80 metres at 0.86% copper and 1.19 grammes of gold per tonne which commenced from 760 metres deep all the way down to the bottom of the drill hole at 840 metres, which could potentially continue downward.
