LONDON (Alliance News) - Maritime tracking technologies provider Software Radio Technology PLC on Tuesday said it has secured a contract to supply its GeoVS maritime display and data management system to the Panama Canal.
The system will be used to monitor and control vessel activity through the canal as part of a major investment programme designed to increase the canal's capacity.
Software Radio did not provide financial details on the contract but said it anticipates the system will be installed and operational by the end of 2016.
Shares in Software Radio were up 7.2% to 42.89 pence Tuesday.
