LONDON (Alliance News) - Software Radio Technology PLC on Friday said it has signed a deal with an unnamed partner for the supply of its GeoVS maritime display system for a major port in Malaysia.
The system includes GeoVS HUB and VIEWER products, with a further 15 AIS AtoN Express products also being supplied to allow buoys to receive AIS messages and move waterway navigation safety and efficiency, Software Radio said.
The full system will be delivered in Software Radio's current financial year, ending March 31. It did not provide any financial details on the contract.
"This contract supports that process and is a major endorsement of our new GeoVS products, Coast Station and Express AtoN AIS transceivers. The contract was awarded to our local partner after extensive trials which demonstrated and proved the benefits of dynamic 3D display," said Software Radio Chief Executive Officer Simon Tucker.
