Software Firm SDL Reports Resignation Of Finance Boss Dominic Lavelle

LONDON (Alliance News) - Software company SDL PLC said Thursday that Chief Financial Officer Dominic Lavelle is to step down effective today.

Lavelle took a taking temporary leave of absence in June 2017 in order to undergo treatment for a medical condition. Lavelle was unable to resume his full time executive role.

Accordingly, the board has agreed that he should step down from his position as chief financial officer and director of the board with immediate effect.

He has agreed to make himself available as an advisor to the company.

A replacement has not been named.

Chairman David Clayton said: "On behalf of the directors, I would like to express our sincere thanks to Dominic for his contribution as CFO since joining the board in 2013. Everyone at SDL wishes him well for the future."

Shares in SDL closed down 1.4% at 410.00 pence each Thursday.
