Softcat Says Over-Allotment Option On IPO Exercised (ALLIPO)

LONDON (Alliance News) - IT infrastructure provider Softcat PLC on Friday said the over-allotment option on its recent initial public offering has been exercised.

That means the company has raised a total of GBP176.4 million from its IPO in total. Prior to the exercise of the over-allotment option, at the same 240.00 pence per share price at its initial float, the company had raised GBP153.4 million.

Pursuant to the over-allotment exercise, the company has issued another 9.6 million shares, taking the total number of shares in issue to 196.8 million.

Softcat shares are still trading well above the 240.00p IPO price and were trading at 292.66p on Friday morning, giving the company a market capitalisation of GBP472.3 million at the IPO price and GBP576.00 million at its current price.
