LONDON (Alliance News) - Soft drinks maker Nichols PLC on Tuesday reported growth in revenue in 2016 and said it expects full-year profit to be in line with expectations.
Revenue rose by 7.3% in 2016 to GBP117.3 million from GBP109.3 million in 2015, Nichols said, with growth achieved both in the UK and internationally.
In the UK, sales rose by 6.9% to GBP90.7 million from GBP84.8 million, driven by sales of Vimto and incremental revenue from Nichols' acquisition of the Noisy Drinks Co last year. International sales rose by 8.8% to GBP26.6 million from GBP24.4 million.
"In summary, the board is pleased with the 2016 group sales performance and expects full-year profit and earnings per share to be ahead of the prior year and in line with expectations," Nichols said in a statement.
Nichols will release its full-year results on March 2.
