(Alliance News) - Smarter Web Co PLC on Monday said an investor has subscribed for 766,719 new shares.
The "single strategic investor" has agreed to buy the shares at 495 pence each for GBP3.8 million in total.
Shares in Smarter Web were trading 1.0% lower at 495p on Monday at around midday, on London's Aquis Stock Exchange. The company IPO'd in April at 2.5p.
"The company is excited to welcome this strategic investor as a shareholder," Smarter Web commented.
The website design agency also announced that the board has approved a change to its registered address. Smarter Web is now based in Bristol, England, having previously been headquartered in Guildford.
