LONDON (Alliance News) - Smart Metering Systems PLC said Monday that expects to deliver growth in line with expectations for the year ended December 31, 2013, as it saw a strong performance across all of its business areas, led by its UK Gas Connection division.
Smart Metering Systems rents and manages gas meters. The company said it had won contracts with Dong Energy and Opus Energy Ltd during the period and extended contracts with a number of its existing clients.
The total number of meters under its management grew 36% to around 460,00 meters by the end of December.
Shares in the company were trading down 0.6% at 319.00 pence Monday morning.
