(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Tuesday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

THG PLC, up 9.1% at 50.00 pence, 12-month range 31.15p-370.29p. Founder Matthew Moulding, as well as a cornerstone investor in THG, buy up SoftBank Group Corp's entire stake in the e-commerce-focused company. THG late Monday said SoftBank sold 80.6 million shares at 39p each, for GBP31.4 million in total. Those THG shares had been worth some GBP480 million back in May of last year. Moulding, via FIC Shareco, buys 12.8 million shares that once belonged to SoftBank. Qatar Holding LLC buys remaining 67.8 million.

Lookers PLC, up 6.5% at 75.60 pence, 12-month range 53.59p-102.00p. The vehicle seller says it outperformed the market in the third quarter, despite supply chain strife continuing. It outperformed the market by roughly 5.6%, it said. The total UK new car market declined by 0.1% in the third quarter. The company now expects underlying pretax profit of no less than GBP75 million for 2022, ahead of previous expectations, but down from GBP90.1 million in 2021.

AO World PLC, down 1.6% at 45.60p, 12-month range 37.22p-157.90p. Canaccord initiates coverage of the electrical goods seller at 'sell' with a 31p price target.

Hunting PLC, down 1.3% at 234.00p, 12-month range 142.80p-356.50p. The provider of services to the oil and gas industry tracks Brent prices lower. The North Sea benchmark briefly faded below the USD91 a barrel mark on Tuesday morning, from USD91.70 late Monday.
