(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Tuesday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Ted Baker PLC, up 19% at 109.00 pence, 12-month range 69.02p-174.40p. Ted Baker has agreed to GBP211 million takeover from Reebok owner Authentic Brands Group, ending a several months long formal sales process. ABG will fork out 110p per Ted Baker share, an 18% premium to the retailer's 93.1p closing price on Monday. Fellow retailer Superdry PLC rises 4.8% in a positive read-across.

On the Beach Group PLC, up 5.6% at 129.23 pence, 12-month range 100.00p-402.00p. The travel company is set for a third-successive share price advance. Lifting sentiment towards the stock on Tuesday is news that Liontrust Investment Partners LLP has snapped up a stake. According to a regulatory filing posted after market close on Monday, Liontrust has built a 5.8% holding.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

Nanoco Group PLC, down 2.5% at 47.10p, 12-month range 16.05p-49.23p. The stock pulls back from this 12-month high, having risen 32% between Thursday and Monday. The Manchester-based nanomaterial developer and manufacturer sees some steam taken out of its rally despite saying it expects revenue of GBP2.4 million in the year ended July, up 10% annually.
