(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Monday.
----------
SMALL-CAP - WINNERS
----------
Tao Alpha PLC, up 61% at 13.00 pence, 12-month range 6.10p-13.70p. Shares hit this high on Monday. Tao, which develops subnet infrastructure, where artificial intelligence is used for the purposes of cryptocurrency trading, proposes adding Henry Elder to its board as a non-executive director. "Henry Elder brings an unparalleled level of experience at the intersection of bitcoin infrastructure, capital markets, and institutional digital asset strategy," Tao says. Tao was previously known as StreaksAI PLC, before a name change in May. Shares have jumped some 19-fold since then.
----------
Synthomer PLC, up 3.4% at 97.10p, 12-month range 78.20p-293.50p. Shares in the developer of highly specialised polymers increase, but are still down 10% so far in July. At the start of the month, it reported an agreement with its banking syndicate to extend a covenant relaxtion period to end of 2026. Synthomer said this was down to "weaker macroeconomic conditions than anticipated".
----------
SMALL-CAP - LOSERS
----------
Georgina Energy PLC, down 35% at 5.34p, 12-month range 3.92p-19.40p. The onshore helium, hydrogen and hydrocarbon prospects company has received a request from Western Australia's Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation & Safety "to provide further information for the Hussar well" management plan. Analysts at Panmure Liberum commented: "The authorities have asked for more info before the drilling permit may be granted, but this should be straightforward. Progress towards drilling is being made, but actual activity on the ground remains some way off."
