(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Tuesday.
----------
SMALL-CAP - WINNERS
----------
Superdry PLC, up 7.0% at 110.20 pence, 12-month range 96.00p-315.00p. The clothing retailer's shares get a boost from a well-received updated from Associated British Foods PLC, the owner of fast-fashion chain Primark. Primark's sales rose to GBP7.7 billion in the financial year that ended September 17, up more than 40% at constant currency. UK like-for-like sales and the market share at Primark is now largely in line with pre-virus levels. AB Foods shares were up 4.2% in the FTSE 100.
----------
SMALL-CAP - LOSERS
----------
Reach PLC, down 2.5% at 110.01p, 12-month range 64.40p-344.22p. After six successive daily gains, shares in the Daily Mirror owner finally fall. They are still up 21% since the day before the start of that winning streak. National World PLC, a newspaper industry investor and owner of JPIMedia Publishing, on Thursday last week said it is in the "early stages of exploring a possible offer" for Reach.
----------
EnQuest PLC, down 2.9% at 28.80p, 12-month range 16.90p-37.35p. The oil and gas producer in the UK North Sea and Malaysia tracks Brent prices lower. A barrel of the North Sea benchmark fetched USD96.92 a barrel, down from USD98.97 at the London equities close on Monday.
