SMALL-CAP WINNERS & LOSERS: Russia threat hits travel stocks

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Monday.

Midwich Group PLC, up 2.9% at 626.96p, 12-month range 420.00p-700.00p. Berenberg lifts its price target for the Norfolk, England-based specialist audio-visual distributor to 780p from 750p. It maintained its 'buy' rating.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

JPMorgan Russian Securities PLC, down 4.2% at 645.94p, 12-month range 590.00p-894.00p. The Russia-focused equity fund falls as the threat of war accelerates. Washington reaffirmed its warning Sunday that Russia could invade Ukraine at any moment. A significant White House update on Friday warned that a major Russian assault on Ukraine, presaged by aerial bombings and missile attacks, could begin in days.

On The Beach Group PLC, down 4.5% at 286.00p, 12-month range 198.40p-517.00p. Travel stocks are also weaker due to the geopolitical tensions. In the FTSE 250, Wizz Air Holdings PLC falls 7.2%, Carnival PLC is down 6.8% and Tui AG is 6.5% lower.
