SMALL-CAP WINNERS & LOSERS: Pod Point passes charge point "milestone"

18th Nov 2024 11:09

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Monday.

----------

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

----------

Pod Point Group Holdings PLC, up 0.7% at 12.51 pence, 12-month range 11.94p-24.9p. The UK-focused electric vehicle charging solution provider announces the passing of a "network milestone". Says its network of Energy Flex-enabled charge points now exceeds 250,000 units, "a unique achievement in the UK market" and leaving it with the UK's largest charging point network. Says the vast majority of units can participate in the Energy Flex market without needing upgrades, making Pod Point "a significant, scale player in both regional and national markets for Energy Flex". Says this means reduced costs for consumers and partners, and high-value recurring revenue for Pod Point. Adds that the network milestone is "an important step" towards its goal of one million customers by 2030.

----------

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

----------

GCP Asset Backed Income Fund Ltd, down 2.7% at 75.5p, 12-month range 58.6p-81.4p. Shares decline on Monday after compulsory redemption at the close on Friday of 50.4 million shares, 19% of its total, at 89.34p each. The company now has 215.6 million shares in issue. The share redemption is in connection with the 1.58p third-quarter dividend announced earlier in November.
