(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Friday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Phoenix Spree Deutschland Ltd, up 7.1% at 166.00 pence, 12-month range 124.50p-183.89p. The investor focused on Berlin residential real estate reports a first increase in its portfolio valuation since the second half of 2022. Its portfolio value rises 3.2% in the second half of 2024. "Condominium values remained resilient during the financial year and, for the first time since the real estate decline began in 2022, PRS valuations have begun to stabilise, albeit at lower levels than the peak," the firm says.

Henderson International Income Trust PLC, up 6.1% at 178.19p, 12-month range 154.50p-187.00p. JPMorgan Global Growth & Income and Henderson International Income Trust say they have agreed a combination, potentially creating an investor with GBP3.4 billion worth of net assets. As part of the proposed deal, a scheme of reconstruction will see HINT's assets rolled into JGGI. In exchange, HINT shareholders will receive new JGGI shares. There is no cash option proposed "in light of the strong rating and liquidity of JGGI's shares, and the similarity of the investment strategies, with both companies offering exposure to global equities and an attractive level of income".

Ricardo PLC, up 6.1% at 226.00p, 12-month range 207.00p-536.22p. Shore Capital Markets raises the engineering consulting firm to 'hold' from 'sell'.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

Ecofin US Renewables Infrastructure Trust PLC, down 4.3% at 22.40p, 12-month range 21.80p-51.00p. The firm's investment manager Ecofin Advisors LLC gives notice to terminate the management agreement. "Ecofin will work with the Board towards an orderly transition during its 12 month notice period," Ecofin US Renewables says.
