(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Tuesday.
----------
SMALL-CAP - WINNERS
----------
Petra Diamonds Ltd, up 17% at 19.75 pence, 12-month range 10.39p-30.42p. Recovers a 41.82-carat type IIb blue diamond of seemingly exceptional colour and clarity at its Cullinan Mine in South Africa. The company is analysing the stone and assessing the preferred method of sale, with further updates on marketing to follow.
----------
Picton Property Income Ltd, up 8.0% at 83.70p, 12-month range 83.70p-60.40p. Launches a strategic review and formal sale process to explore options to maximise shareholder value, including a potential merger with other UK REITs, wider consolidation, asset sales or a sale of the entire company. The board says Picton is in a strong financial and operational position but believes its share price does not reflect the intrinsic value of the business, with the shares trading at a material discount to EPRA net tangible assets. It adds that a tough backdrop for the listed UK real estate sector has constrained the ability to raise new equity, limiting organic growth. Picton says it also considers other corporate actions, including portfolio disposals and capital returns, and confirms discussions may take place under a formal sale process, though there is no certainty that any offer will be made.
----------
SMALL-CAP - LOSERS
----------
Intuitive Investments Group PLC, down 7.3% at 141.00p, 12-month range 152.00p-97.50p. Raises GBP20.0 million through an equity fundraise, issuing 21.9 million new shares at 91.5 pence each. The fundraise follows the achievement of Milestone 1 under the Helikon investment agreement, which triggers a GBP5 million investment from Helikon at the same price, implying a pre-money fully diluted valuation of GBP200 million. A further GBP15.0 million is raised from existing shareholders on identical terms. IIG says the proceeds are invested in Hui10 Inc, its largest holding, which focuses on the digital transformation of the Chinese lottery sector.
