12th Jun 2025 09:54

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Thursday.

----------

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

----------

Great Southern Copper PLC, up 6.5% at 3.62 pence, 12-month range 1.00p-5.20p. The explorer in Chile reports "high-grade assay results" from drilling at the Mostaza mine. Drilling confirms "outstanding" copper-gold grades. "The exciting results at Mostaza continue with drilling below the historical Mostaza mine intersecting further outstanding high-grade Cu-Ag mineralisation that remains open along strike and at depth," Chief Executive Officer Sam Garrett says.

----------

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

----------

JPMorgan US Smaller Cos Investment Trust PLC, down 2.7% at 378.46p, 12-month range 334.01p-528.00p. Shares in the investment firm go ex-dividend, meaning new buyers will not qualify for the latest payout.

----------

On the Beach Group PLC, down 5.1% at 272.00p, 12-month range 127.75p-290.00p. Shares in the travel firm fall, tracking the wider sector lower. Geopolitical worries are weighing on travel shares. On the FTSE 100, British Airways parent International Consolidated Airlines Group SA shed 2.9%. Donald Trump said US personnel were being moved from the potentially "dangerous" Middle East on Wednesday as nuclear talks with Iran faltered and fears grew of a regional conflict. Trump also reiterated that he would not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon, amid mounting speculation that Israel could strike Tehran's facilities.
