10th Jun 2025 11:10

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Tuesday.

----------

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

----------

EnQuest PLC, up 2.6% at 12.46 pence, 12-month range 9.95p-16.60p. The oil and gas company, with operations in the UK and Malaysia, win two awards at a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur hosted by Malaysia state oil firm Petronas. "These awards are further validation of EnQuest's strong reputation in Malaysia, built over ten years of successful operations in the country, and demonstrate the esteem in which the company's capabilities are held as we continue to deliver diversified growth across South East Asia," it adds. EnQuest aims to grow its production in the region to 35,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

----------

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

----------

Defence Holdings PLC, down 8.2% at 0.45p, 12-month range 0.14p-0.45p. Shares in the defence technology platform decline after a strong run recently. Shares are still up more than three-fold since its rebrand. Defence Holdings was formerly known as Cassel Capital PLC, and before that, as Guild Esports PLC. The firm sold 100% of the assets of Guild Esports to DCB Sports LLC in a deal completed in October.

----------

Gulf Marine Services PLC, down 3.0% at 21.10p, 12-month range 14.15p-21.80p. The Abu Dhabi-based provider of self-propelled and self-elevating support vessels for the offshore energy sector receives legal advice which determines that a request to convene a general meeting is invalid. "The parties who made the request have been informed and the company continues to seek engagement with the parties through dialogue. Shareholders are advised to take no action in relation to this matter," Gulf Marine adds. The request called for "certain changes to the board and the payment of a dividend".
