(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Tuesday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Braemar PLC, up 0.9% at 216 pence, 12-month range 201p-275p. The London-based provider of investment, chartering and risk management advice to shipping and energy markets says it continues to trade in line with market expectations, and expects to give an update on full-year trading towards the end of March. Also announces that Chief Executive Officer James Gundy will step down at the next annual general meeting on July 2, but "will remain with the business and focus on his shipbroking activities." Chief Financial & Operating Officer Grant Foley will succeed Gundy. "Grant has impressed the board in both his finance and operational roles and has demonstrated the necessary breadth of expertise to execute the board's strategic plan to deliver revenues of GBP200 million by FY30...With a strong leadership team and a clear growth strategy in place we remain focused on delivering against our near-term and medium-term targets and look to the future with confidence," comments Non-Executive Chair Nigel Payne.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

Ecora Royalties PLC, down 3.7% at 134.8p, 12-month range 50p-152.4p. The critical minerals-focused royalty company, formerly known as Ecora Resources PLC, has been cut by broker Peel Hunt to 'hold' from 'buy'. Peel Hunt increases the price target to 154p from 115p.

European Opportunities Trust PLC, flat at 8.57p, 12-month change 757p-959p. The European companies-focused investor reports a net asset value total return of minus 0.2% for the six months ended November 30, underperforming against a plus 10.1% return from its benchmark, the MSCI Europe Total Return Index. NAV per share is 965.37p as at November 30, down 0.4% from 968.89p at May 31. Says the results are "clearly disappointing" but that its investment manager remains confident in the portfolio's outlook. Notes the strategic review started on Friday, saying the options under consideration will include combining with "another closed-ended fund"; a "cash exit at close to NAV"; and "a roll-over into a proposed open-ended investment company with a similar investment policy".
