(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Thursday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Wildcat Petroleum PLC, up 55% at 0.09 pence, 12-month range 0.21p-0.05p. The investor in the petroleum industry's upstream sector says its listing on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange was restored on Thursday.

Argo Blockchain PLC, up 15% at 2.64p, 12-month range 11.50p-0.80p. The blockchain technology company focused on cryptocurrency mining with operations in the US and Canada continues to rise after releasing its results on Tuesday. Revenue slumps in the first half of 2025, but the loss narrows. Revenue falls to USD6.3 million from USD29.3 million, as the refurbishment and relocation of machines in the first quarter led to a slump in bitcoin mined. Bitcoin mined in the first half fell to 65 from 442 a year earlier. Argo's pretax loss narrows to USD8.5 million from USD37.2 million. Power and hosting costs decline to USD5.1 million, aiding its bottom line, from USD19.2 million a year earlier. The shares are up 46% in five days.

Genflow Biosciences PLC, down 32% at 0.97p, 12-month range 2.30p-0.55p. The biotechnology firm, with research facilities in Belgium, raises gross proceeds of GBP340,000 from the allotment of 40 million new shares at an issue price of 0.85p. The share allotment is to Chief Executive Officer Eric Leire who will pass them to the purchaser.

Aquila Energy Efficiency Trust PLC, down 20% at 28.15p, 12-month range 70.00p-25.25p. The closed-ended investment company, focusing on small to medium-sized energy efficiency projects, goes ex-dividend on Thursday, meaning new buyers do not qualify for the latest payout.
