(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Friday.
----------
SMALL-CAP - WINNERS
----------
Alpha Group International PLC, up 3.6% at 3,165.00 pence, 12-month range 1,975.00p-3,230.00p. The London-based financial services provider says it has been in further talks with Corpay since its rejection of Corpay's all-cash takeover offer at the beginning of May, and has extended the deadline by which Corpay must announce a firm intention to make an offer. Corpay must now make an offer by July 7, extending from May 30. Alpha will make a further announcement "as appropriate". Alpha did not at the time give a reason for rejecting Corpay's initial offer.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS
----------
Workspace Group, down 2.0% at 411.50p, 12-month range 379.50p-664.00p. The London-based provider of flexible workspace sees its price target cut to 525 pence from 630p by Barclays, with an 'overweight' rating. Peel Hunt maintains its 'buy' rating but also reduced its target price for the firm to 500p from 600p. This follows Workspace in mid-May reducing its financial 2026 earnings guidance, which are now to be around 10% lower than previously expected. Workspace expects trading profit to be around GBP7 million lower than the market consensus range of GBP66 million to GBP72 million. Trading profit for financial 2025 is expected broadly in line with consensus, with Peel Hunt forecasting GBP66 million. Workspace reported trading profit after interest of GBP66.0 million for the year that ended March 31, 2024.
