17th Sep 2021 10:38

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Friday.

----------

----------

On the Beach Group PLC, up 8.3% at 349.23 pence, 12-month range 200.50p-517.00p. The London-listed travel sector is on the up as travelling is set to be made cheaper and more straightforward for doubled-jabbed UK holidaymakers. Green and amber lists are expected to be merged to form one category of low-risk countries while the number of destinations on the red list will be reduced. International Consolidated Airlines Group SA rises 4.2% in the FTSE 100, Tui AG is up 3.7% in the FTSE 250, while Main Market-listed aviation services provider John Menzies PLC is up 3.1%.

----------

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

----------

Porvair PLC, down 3.3% at 647.70p, 12-month range 422.00p-690.00p. Shares in the filtration and environmental technology firm fade after hitting this 12-month high on Thursday. Prior to Friday, its stock had risen in each of the last four sessions, adding 8.8% during this win streak. On Tuesday, it said trading for the third quarter ended August 31 was ahead of expectations, with healthy order books in industrial processes, laboratory and aluminium.
