6th May 2021 10:29

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Thursday.

----------

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

----------

Superdry PLC, up 18% at 324.50 pence, 12-month range 110p-328p. The high street fashion retailer says it can see "light at the end of the tunnel" as lockdown restrictions ease. Says financial 2021 revenue fell 21% to GBP556.6 million from GBP704.4 million in financial 2020. In the fourth quarter, revenue increased 0.8% to GBP118.3 million from GBP117.4 million a year ago. "The early signs following the reopening of our UK stores are encouraging, as lockdown restrictions start to lift, and we can clearly see the light at the end of the tunnel. In short, we are on track with our reset of the brand, and there's a lot to look forward to," says Chief Executive Officer Julian Dunkerton.

----------

Vitec Group PLC, up 9.7% at 1,525.00p, 12-month range 610p-1,530p. The photography and video products maker says trading performance has improved faster than previously anticipated. It now expects adjusted pretax profit for 2021 to be materially above current market expectations of GBP30.7 million.

----------

Tyman PLC, up 7.2% at 456.50p, 12-month range 147.50p-460.50p. The door and window components supplier says positive trading momentum seen in fourth quarter has continued into 2021, with underlying demand in all three divisions strongly ahead of expectations. Tyman now expects that full-year adjusted operating profit will be above the top end of the current range of analysts' expectations of GBP82.9 million. Tyman says revenue in four-month to April 30 increases by 23% to GBP208 million.

----------

Costain Group PLC, up 1.6% at 60.84p, 12-month range 30.35p-95p. The smart infrastructure solutions company says current trading is in line with the board's expectations and remains confident in delivering profit growth in 2021.
