SMALL-CAP - LOSERS
----------
On the Beach Group PLC, down 4.7% at 322.5p, 12-month range 200.5p-517p. The travel stock has fallen 11% this week so far amid worries over rising Covid cases in the UK. As of 9am on Thursday, a further 52,009 laboratory-confirmed cases in the UK were reported, the highest daily number since mid July. It follows a warning from Health Secretary Sajid Javid at a Downing Street news conference on Wednesday that new cases could reach 100,000 a day.
