10th Dec 2021 10:59

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Friday.

----------

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

----------

Photo-Me International PLC, up 5.2% at 61.00 pence, 12-month range 41.65p-79.60p. The photobooth operator and self-service laundry company upgrades its annual earnings forecasts. Better-than-expected trading momentum in May, June and July continued in the fourth quarter ended October 31, Photo-Me explains, driven by a continued recovery in photobooth activity and a strong Laundry division performance. Revenue is now forecast slightly ahead of previous expectations at around GBP210 million, and pretax profit before exceptional items is expected at the upper end of previous guidance at between GBP25 million and GBP30 million.

----------

Tullow Oil PLC, up 2.6% at 45.53p, 12-month range 22.61p- 66.22p. JPMorgan raises the oil and gas company to Overweight from Neutral.

----------

Petrofac PLC, up 0.2% at 113.60p, 12-month range 90.66p-203.34p. JPMorgan upgrades the oilfield services firm to Overweight from Neutral.

----------

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

----------

Genel Energy PLC, down 2.7% at 127.80p, 12-month range 113.85p-194.80p. The oil and gas company says it will make compensation claims after the Kurdistan regional government decided to terminate the production sharing contracts for its Bina Bawi and Miran fields. "In these circumstances, the board has concluded that it is left with no practical alternative but to accept that the PSCs are terminated as a consequence of the KRG's repudiatory breach and to claim compensation from the KRG. Genel's claims are substantial and will be brought in a London-seated international arbitration to be commenced in accordance with the disputes process set out in the PSCs," it says.
