(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Thursday.

On the Beach Group PLC, up 4.6% at 266.83 pence, 12-month range 198.40p-517.00p. Shares in the online retailer of beach holidays are higher as part of a wider rally in travel stocks. In the FTSE 100, International Consolidated Airlines SA is up 3.9%, while budget carriers Wizz Air Holdings PLC and easyJet PLC are leading the FTSE 250 up 4.8% and 4.2% respectively. Victoria Scholar, head of Investment, interactive investor says: "The FTSE 100 has opened on a positive note, amid a sea of green across European indices with travels stocks such as IAG and Intercontinental Hotels leading the pack on optimism that Omicron could lead to fewer hospitalisations than the Delta variant."

NewRiver REIT PLC, up 1.8% at 87.57p, 12-month range 70.00p-109.20p. The retail and leisure assets investor sells Poole Retail Park in Dorset for GBP58.0 million, via a joint venture with investment firm Bravo Strategies III LLC. The retail park was acquired in October 2019 by the joint venture for GBP44.7 million, meaning that the current sale price is 30% higher than the purchase price.

Hunting PLC, up 1.5%, at 161.80p, 12-month range 142.80p-297.00p. The energy services firm sets up a new joint venture with Jidal SAW to capitalise on work in India. The joint venture is 49% owned by Hunting and 51% owned by the Indian conglomerate.
