SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

NewRiver REIT PLC, up 3.1% at 83.00 pence, 12-month range 46.00p-109.20p. The retail and leisure property investor says it aims for resilient retail parks and core shopping centres to represent 90% of its portfolio in the medium term. Says it assessed its current portfolio and will actively exit its at risk "Work Out" assets by the end of March 2023. NewRiver says rent collection figures have further improved since its last update in July. Occupiers continued to make payments due under Covid deferral agreements, increasing NewRiver REIT's rent collection rate, with the most recent quarter rate now exceeding 90%. The company also notes recent leasing transactions continue to be completed at pricing ahead of March, while occupancy remains high at 97%.

Dev Clever Holdings PLC, up 2.1% at 39.30p, 12-month range 6.56p-47.90p. The software developer says it continues to work towards completing the acquisition of Veative Labs Private Ltd. Says process has been hindered by Covid related restrictions that were in place in India earlier this year and the parties remain committed to closing the transaction as soon as practically possible.

Chill Brands Group PLC, down 9.6% at 20.00p, 12-month range 20.00p-109.70p. Shares in the US-based cannabidiol company hit fresh 12-month low. Says it has appointed Viridian Capital Advisors to assist with its ambitious transformation plan. "In the next several quarters we will communicate extensive plans to enhance our board of directors, improve our corporate credibility, boost the Group's visibility, increase liquidity, and diversify our investor base," it says.
