SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Trident Royalties PLC, up 3.1% at 38.13 pence, 12-month range 30.30p-47.00p. The mining royalty & streaming firm says it has generated its first revenue under the gold offtake streams acquired from Orion Resource Partners. Trident has acquired 1,858 ounces of gold, and sold them for a margin of USD30.68 per ounce, leading to a total cash flow of USD57,001 and a net smelter return equivalent margin of 1.7% for the batch.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

McColl's Retail Group PLC, down 5.1% at 10.91p, 12-month range 10.81p-11.70p. The convenience store chain says Chief Commercial Officer Richard Crampton has resigned in order to take up the position of director of Fresh Food at blue-chip grocer J Sainsbury PLC. Crampton was added to the company's board last May. Current Chief Operating Officer Karen Bird will assume responsibility for the commercial side, alongside her existing duties.

Senior PLC, down 1.4% at 139.90p, 12-month range 90.80p-186.71p. The aerospace parts maker says a recovery was "underway" in 2021, as annual results are expected to meet expectations. It predicts annual revenue would be as expected: roughly GBP659 million, a 10% decrease from GBP733.6 million in 2020, the first quarter of which was unaffected by the pandemic. Anticipates adjusted pretax loss tax will also be in line with management's expectations.
