McBride PLC, down 9.7% at 76.57 pence, 12-month range 56.96p-94.60p. The manufacturer and supplier of private label and contract manufactured products now expects adjusted pretax profit for financial 2022 to be 55% to 65% lower than current market consensus of GBP19.7 million. "Although only 7 weeks into the new financial year, the previously highlighted raw material environment remains extremely challenging both in terms of exceptional price increases and supply availability. More recently, and in line with the general trading environment experienced by others, the group has also started to experience distribution challenges, particularly in the UK and Germany as a result of the shortage of heavy goods vehicle drivers which has impacted upon both transport availability and cost," company explains.

John Menzies PLC, down 2.0% at 310.83 pence, 12-month range 99.0p-351.0p. Acquires 51% of Interexpresso Costa Rica Corporaciin ILC SA. Company notes Interexpresso is an aviation service provider operating in Central America and headquartered in Costa Rica. Interexpresso's core business relates to cargo handling and aviation security services, primarily consisting of cargo document handling, cargo security screening and aircraft access control. "Menzies' initial focus will be on developing and growing Interexpresso's core cargo and security offerings across the region with the potential to expand into additional air cargo handling and ground handling services," company explains. Did not disclose any financial details.

International Personal Finance PLC, down 2.0% at 148.80 pence, 12-month range 44.10p-155.0p. Plans to delist shares from Warsaw Stock Exchange, but will retain listing in London. Will hold general meeting on September 16 to ask shareholders for approval, as the move will involve a tender offer to buy back all of its shares listed in Poland.
