(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Thursday.
----------
SMALL-CAP - WINNERS
----------
Lamprell PLC, up 3.1% at 37.65 pence, 12-month range 26.50p-88.46p. The Sharjah, United Arab Emirates-based engineer signs a USD45 million revolving loan facility for two IMI newbuild jackup rigs with First Abu Dhabi Bank and Emirates Development Bank. Says it is confident the new funding will strengthen balance sheet and assist in accessing the growth potential in both markets of renewables and oil & gas.
----------
PPHE Hotel Group Ltd, up 2.3% at 1,381.60p, 12-month range 916.00p-1,800.00p. The hotel and resorts operator says in third quarter it saw strong trading momentum and revenue performance in the UK and Croatia. 2021 third-quarter average room rates improve to 87% from same time in 2019. PPHE encouraged by improving demand into fourth quarter, supported by less restrictions on international travel, booking pace momentum, and increased demand for corporate travel and meeting and events.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS
----------
Hunting PLC, down 2.2% at 186.96p, 12-month range 128.10p-297.00p. The oilfield services firm says during third quarter Hurricane Ida and Covid-19 disruptions weighed on operating efficiencies and activity levels. During third quarter, Hunting generated a break-even earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation result given the ongoing subdued trading conditions. "Management now anticipate the group's Ebitda result for the 2021 full year will be broadly breakeven due to a combination of the above factors. However, the initiatives we have undertaken while the market was depressed by the impact of the pandemic have positioned the company well for the recovery that is beginning to manifest itself," it says.
