(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Tuesday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Helical PLC, up 5.0% at 464.56 pence, 12-month range 240.00p-485.50p. The wider property investment sector was higher on Tuesday amid reopening hopes and as shares in blue-chip peers British Land Co PLC and Land Securities Group PLC got a boost after JPMorgan upgraded its ratings on both firms to Overweight from Neutral. British Land shares rose 4.1%, Landsec was up 4.7%.

NextEnergy Solar Fund Ltd, up 1.7% at 99.30 pence, 12-month range 96.50p-110.62p. Commits USD50 million to NextPower III LP solar infrastructure fund. NPIII owns a 394 megawatt portfolio. In addition, NextEnergy Solar inks a GBP100 million revolving credit facility with lenders NatWest and AIB. Facility has a three-year term.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

Senior PLC, down 7.7% at 153.00 pence, 12-month range 41.00p-186.70p. The engineering firm gives back some of Monday's 9.2% gains. Senior shares surged on Monday after Lone Star Global Acquisitions Ltd said it made a fifth and final takeover bid, valuing Senior at GBP838.8 million.
