(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Friday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Fuller, Smith & Turner PLC, up 6.0% at 848.00 pence, 12-month range 510.00p-977.73p. The pub firm looks set to snap a two-day losing streak which saw it lose 6.1% of its market value. On Thursday alone, the stock fell 2.9%, despite promising earnings from brewers Diageo PLC and Anheuser-Busch InBev NV.

Pendragon PLC, up 0.7% at 18.52 pence, 12-month range 7.00p-21.50p. The motor dealer jumped 9.9% on Thursday on the back of promising trading results from peer Lookers PLC. On Friday, Pendragon rises again as it lifts its underlying pretax profit guidance for 2021 to GBP55 million to GBP60 million, up sharply from GBP8.2 million in 2020.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

Forterra PLC, down 1.5% at 304.00p, 12-month range 144.16p-311.00p. The Northampton, England-headquartered building products manufacturer gives up some of its 3.5% climb from Thursday. It had posted a swing to pretax profit in the six months to June 30 of GBP27.1 million versus GBP23.3 million loss a year before.
